In Helsinki, everything is within biking distance! Utilise one of Helsinki's City bikes, or a Pelago bike from St. George and head to the Helsinki seafront. When strolling along the Kaivopuisto seaside, visit Löyly - a special sauna/restaurant noticed by GQ and CNN. Or enjoy some ice cream by the sea and play a game of mini golf.

During April and May in Helsinki, I love going to Tähtitorninmäki hill park after work and enjoy the city view from high up. It's a perfect place to observe the boats passing while feeling the sun on my face. It is my favorite picnic place.

Klaus Haapaniemi - At the second floor called Garden in Kämp Gallery you'll find a selection of Finnish designers. I love Klaus Haapaniemi’s beautifully illustrated silk clothing, home accessories and kid’s wear. Finnish fashion doesn't get better than this!
Salakauppa - The cute little glass cube shop, named Secret shop in Finnish. They sell Aamu Song's and Johan Olin’s playful small objects mostly made out of wood. My favourite is the mushroom stool.
St George Care - By far the best spa in Helsinki. Beautifully executed effortless interior and very professional treatments.
El Rey - This Mexican restaurant just opened it’s second location on Annankatu. The best Mexican food and cocktails in town combined with a friendly atmosphere. My new regular hang out joint.

Tap water in Finland is of the highest quality. It is completely safe to drink and tastes great too. Be sustainable and use a reusable bottle for your water. Fill it from the tap before starting your day exploring the city. And stay hydrated.
